The Everwild Zoo brochure was designed around one core goal: getting people excited about education, conservation, and the natural world, in a way that feels welcoming rather than lecture-y. It started with research into who'd actually be picking this up (families, mostly, with visitors of all ages) and what they'd expect from it, which shaped decisions on layout, color, typography, and overall flow.
I built the color palette around sunset orange, leafy greens, and yellow-greens, colors that feel like the outdoors and spark a bit of curiosity to explore further. Rounded, circular layout elements show up throughout too, giving the whole thing a friendly, approachable feel that works for kids and adults alike. A stylized tiger illustration, made from simplified shapes, anchors the design as a clear focal point without cluttering the page or getting in the way of readability.
Every choice, from the illustrations to the type, was made with the zoo's educational mission in mind, while still celebrating the sheer variety of life it represents. The result is a brochure that's informative without feeling dry, visually engaging, and genuinely memorable, something that helps visitors connect with Everwild's purpose and walk away a little more curious about the natural world.
