Flourish & Bloom

Flourish & Bloom is a website built for a floral workshop business offering hands-on classes for all skill levels. The project started with research into how students actually find, book, and engage with workshops, and that understanding shaped the site's structure, navigation, and interactive features, all aimed at making exploration and signing up feel effortless.

The design is image-heavy on purpose, letting vibrant photos of finished bouquets do a lot of the persuading. A natural palette of greens and pinks feels gender-neutral and right at home for floral enthusiasts, while a soft serif typeface with small decorative strokes adds a touch of elegance without feeling stiff. Rounded, clean layouts and intuitive navigation keep the whole thing approachable, striking a balance between modern and friendly.

Interactive features, workshop filters, online booking, horizontal image scrolling, a location map, a contact form, make the site both useful and engaging, while still keeping student work front and center. After several rounds of prototyping and refinement, the final site feels cohesive and genuinely enjoyable to use, reflecting the brand's mission to make floral arranging feel accessible, creative, and fun.
