The OurNest packaging design was developed to balance playfulness and refinement for children’s products. The project began with research into the target audience, family needs, and competitive products, which informed decisions around color, shape, typography, and illustration. This research-driven approach ensured the packaging would appeal broadly while remaining engaging, accessible, and reflective of the brand’s values.

A color palette of orange, green, blue, and yellow was chosen to remain gender-neutral, conveying energy, creativity, and inclusivity. Custom illustrations along the sides add a distinctive, personal touch, giving the packaging a sense of personality and approachability. The house-shaped structure reinforces themes of home, comfort, and family connection, making the unboxing experience both playful and meaningful.

Every design element was carefully considered to support user interaction, visual hierarchy, and storytelling, creating an experience that emphasizes creativity, individuality, and thoughtful engagement with the product. The final design combines aesthetic appeal with functionality, delivering a memorable, family-friendly packaging solution that strengthens the brand identity while encouraging imaginative play and positive interaction with the product.
